Swimming with sharks

July 29, 2008

Coop is in South Africa for PIP: Battle Lines right now.

And guess what Mr. “I’m afraid of spiders, frogs and cockroaches” Cooper did?

He had a little swimming lesson with sharks!

Yep, I know hard to believe but true. CNN posted a short vid of it here.

I’m so looking forward to see it. I loved PIP and I absolutely know this one’s going to be awesome as well. We have already seen some vids and this one makes me even more excited. HURRY UP I WANNA FINALLY SEE IT!^^

I took some screenshots of it.

LOL…the first one looks like he just got up…and is pretty scared!^^

“That’s fantastic, that’s really cool!”  I agree!

PIP News

July 29, 2008

The last I have heard from the 360 web site, the PIP: Battle Lines shall air for the first time in December. This will feature Lisa Ling in place of Jeff Corwin.  Now personally I do not think that Corwin added anything to the first PIP.

I like Lisa Ling, as I am old enough to remember both her and our man Coop when they were neophytes with Channel One. Anyone else recall this? Hahaha Coop has the ” seagull” hairstyle back then and it was still mostly brown.

Podcast Pic Spam

Since I didn’t had enough time to share my time with Anderson I just made some caps of AC 360°.

Here are some to start with. I’ll post more of the other episodes on Monday.

You’ll find all 100+ pictures here.

Politics and polygamy

July 26, 2008

Politics and polygamy dominated the first half of the late edition of 360 last evening. I made a point to stay up and at least watch the first half-hour of the broadcast. Apparently the second half of Thursday’s show was more analysis of ” Black In America”. I had to wake early so I only got half of my usual dose of a nightly Cooper fix. Hopefully this evening will be a full hour since it returns to its regular time slot.

We know our Coop loves his politics. So I am gonna pose this questin to all you Anderfans: are you overdosed on US politics now? Let us know hwat you think and why.

I do not know who won the “Beat 360″ contest last night, but I do nknow the picture was hilarious. Anderson himself won the staff pick last week. To my recollection, this is the first time that the Coopster has won the contest. Erica won Wednesday night on the staff’s end of the contest. Whomever ” Joey” is on the staff at 360, he sure createds some clever captions.

Polygamy sect leader Warren Jeffs is in troyble yet AGAIN. This time the state of Texas alleges that he ( Jeffs) married girls as young as 12! There were some disturning pics of Jeffs with the alleged child brides. Thankfully 360 blurred the girls’ faces when they aired the pics of Jeffs cuddling with the girls

Woooohoooooo!

I’ve been a busy girl…!

You bloggers really need some anderstuff to beautify your computer, cell phone, wall, closet…..! That’s why I made some new Wallpapers – some of them even colorful.

                                              Hope you like ‘em.

Thanks for the welcome!

July 25, 2008

Thanks for the welcome, Rena! I do not know if I am the second most-Ander-addicted person I know, but hey, I’m pretty addicted.

Discalimer: I represent the more conservative Cooper viewers. But I shall try hard not to interject my politics into my Anderposts.

Last night  there was a live 360 on after Soledad Obrien’s “Black In America” special. I did not watch the special, but saw the first half of 360 with all the politics and crime and punishment. On the blog at AC 360.com Coop said that he spend last weekend getting certified in scuba diving . I suppose the PIP crew is gonna do some underwater sleuthing on the next shoot for this year’s PIP. I will try, once my camera is fixed or I buy a new one, to post AC screencaps.

Coop now has a place of honor as the wallpaper for my cell phone. ( ok, Rena, maybe I am becomming as Ander-addicted as you are!)

Gosh, I wonder where AC and crew are gonna go next for their PIP adventure?

At any rate, 360 shall be on at 11 EST again tonight. Hey, did you notice that our Coop cannot spell? For instance he always spells ” tonight” “tonite”.

Yep yep, we’re breeding like rabbits.

Please welcome my dear friend Sarah from the sunshine state of Florida. Besides me she’s actually the most Andy addicted person I know – wait….maybe she shares the rank with some others.^^ Anyway, she is a journalist and has a lotta experience with blogging! The perfect match, huh? We definetly will enjoy this. Our family is growing…awww!^^

Glad to have ya here Mac.

And of course….your personal Anderwelcome:

”Sarah joins? That’s going to be exciting!”

OK, I’m sorry, but this is not going to be about Andy. But about one of his favorite topics: POLITICS. I know you are kinda sick of all the political stuff in his show and I understand, but this is a historic year.

President(ial candidate) Barrack Obama is visiting Berlin today to have a speech in front of the German people and probably hunderds of reporters. Actually Cath, a friend of ours and me wanted to go there, but the “Deutsche Bahn” (German Railways) stopped us with high prices, thanks for that.

It is a very controversial event. Obama first wanted to have his speech in front of the “Brandenburger Tor” what was disapproved by our chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU), because this place should not be the scene for a foreign campaign event. It’s suggested that they want to prevent such a mega hype like the “Ich bin ein Berliner” Kennedy appearance (Plus she get’s along with Dubya pretty good). Instead Obama choose another very historic place: The “Siegessäule”. I don’t know if you know about this place, but it was built to celebrate the German’s victories over hostile countries during WW II (And btw…it’s not the most beautiful one in Berlin). Now politicians from different parties are discussing about that. A poltician from the liberal Party FDP said, this can’t be the right place to tak about international relationships.

Whatever, he’s coming here and I think I’m not the only one who’s looking forward to it – even if I won’t be able to shoot my own i-report for CNN!^^ I’m pretty sure it’s going to be an interesting event. And we will maybe even see something about it on 360°!

Ok, it’s not christmas…it feels like that though (where’s the sun??)!

But we have a little present for you nevertheless. Our newest Ander-wallpaper:

And again it’s black and white (yes we love it that way AND it fits better to Andy’s haircolor^^). Hope you like it. Enjoy!
