How hip is Anderson Cooper? The CNN host was just spotted at a Manhattan barbershop getting a $15 haircut, reports The New York Post. Barbershops are retro-chic again, and the roll-back-the-prices cost is a retro benefit too.
While the oh-so-foxy silver fox is undeniably a luxaholic — donning his timeless bespoke suits, making Vanity Fair’s Best Dressed List, jetting around the globe on assignment, having fashion icon and socialite Gloria Vanderbilt for a mother — this guy doesn’t feel the need to get clipped at a fancy salon like other dudes do. It’s a refreshingly inexpensive trend that hearkens back to another era — and certainly makes Mr. Cooper even more intriguing than he already seems… a non-luxe cut above.
I have to add, that Andy has been in St. Paul the last week, so I’m not really sure what ‘just spotted’ means. btw, as far as I followed the convention Andy didn’t look like he just got a hair cut. Whatever…
I don’t know if this report is true, but I can see Anderson being a little low maintenance even as polished as he is. Sometimes he’s less than polished with dirty sneakers and wrinkly old shirts. I love THAT AC too!
What’s wrong with a $15 haircut, I get my hair done for $14.95 all the time. So his mother is a Vanderbilt, maybe he watches his money. I’m not saying he’s a tightwad. I’m just saying there is better and more important things to spend your money on then a haircut!
LOL I also pay just about 15$ for my haircut, but not, because I’m hip – I just can’t afford to pay more^^.
Seems like he rather wants to spend his money on realties than on his looks.
HOTT. But he always looks good. even his ” bad” pics are good.
